Message from the President

Dearest Friends Of Redstone,

The truest measure of any organization is its contribution to community. This past year, Redstone celebrated 25 years of care, service, and dedication .We our very proud of our deep historical roots within the community, that are traceable in the broadest directions throughout Western Pennsylvania .We are also very thankful of the trust given by you over the past twenty-five years, and for providing Redstone with your unwavering support of our mission as well.

To further strengthen our work environment, commitment to employees, and provide the highest quality of care in the years ahead, the development of Core Values were constructed .We no longer believed Redstone Highlands communities should be viewed as just a place to work. We believe instead that ones place of employment must encompass and embrace family .Our Core Values bring forward six new culture principles for Truth, Teamwork, Respect For All, Quality, Life Balance, and Life Long Learning. The framework of these Values will provide a great environment to work and live. Family will always come first at Redstone!

During the last year, Redstone offered close to 1.5 million dollars in benevolent services to residents who no longer and at no fault of their own have the financial means to pay for their care. This financial contribution links directly our Missions charitable purpose to the value and importance we provide to this community .We are pleased to report our fund raising totals for 2004- 2005 exceeded our targeted goal expectations, however it is our greatest hope that in the years ahead and with your continued support, we will obtain contributions which match our true benevolent cost needs.

As a result of our financial repositioning efforts over the past two years to streamline operations, we are excited to report efforts are currently in process to determine if the market conditions are favorable to refinance our existing bonds. If so, and projected savings are as anticipated, Redstone will be in position to launch many of our strategic initiatives concerning new services and expansion as planned.

The open support of Redstones mission over the past 25 years has been overwhelmingly generous and represents a passage that could only occur through community inclusiveness for faith and trust.

Thank you for your blessings,

John R. Dickson IV
President and CEO
