Giving With Open Hearts and Hands

We are creating better lives for our cherished seniors at Redstone

Can you tell whether a senior service provider is a for-profit or non-profit just by walking through the doors? Probably not.

Senior communities run by nonprofits or for-profits often look very much the same. We have nice buildings. The landscaping looks good. Fees and rates are often quite similar. The residents living within the communities won’t really help differentiate one from another. So what’s the difference?

The difference is YOU!

Your support makes Redstone the very special organization that it is. Consider these examples:

• Benevolent Care is at the heart of who we are and what we do. Residents who have come to live at Redstone through the traditional entrance fee path need not worry about where they will spend the rest of their lives. Even if a resident’s assets are totally depleted through no fault of their own, Benevolent Care will meet the their needs and provide the care needed for the rest of their lives. That is a significant aspect of a nonprofit. Learn more about Benevolent Care here.

• As a nonprofit we are led by a volunteer Board of Directors who give of their time, talent, and treasure to insure Redstone’s strength and quality. Our allegiance doesn’t lie with shareholders seeking return on their financial investments, but rather with volunteers doing what they do out of love. Meet our Board Members here.

• Volunteers engage on our campuses almost daily to bring pet therapy dogs, work in our gift shops, assist with activities, make friendly visits, deliver mail, and so much more. Our volunteers make a huge difference. Learn more about volunteering here.

• In addition to the revenue that we receive through fees for services, the generous gifts of support that come to Redstone because we are a non-profit make a huge difference. Residents, family members of current and former residents, churches, organizations, foundations, businesses, estates, friends from the community, our employees, and so many others provide generous financial support to carry forth Redstone’s mission. You attend our events and you respond to our requests for gifts. Our donors make Redstone difference, and we are very grateful! The pandemic has presented us with many challenges and we are still working to rebuild: our volunteer network, our charitable giving programs in these challenging economic times, and reestablishing relationships across Redstone. We embrace this work and the challenges. We are a non-profit and we are Redstone because of YOU. Thank you for your generous support. for your encouragement, and for your love.

Gratefully,
